  • Juan Ramos, Executive Director

    Juan Ramos is the Executive Director and Founder of R3 Generations and a champion for youth empowerment. With a focus on technical mentorship and community outreach, Juan leads the organization with a hands-on approach, often driving across the state to personally ensure students have the resources they need to thrive. By integrating professional skill-building with faith-based mentorship, Juan has helped hundreds of students transition from uncertainty to graduation and beyond, proving that dedicated leadership and small acts of service can make a world of difference.

    Benita Ruiz, R3 West & W.F.I Program Manager

    Benita Ruiz, CHW has been a cornerstone of the team since 2021, bringing a steady heart and expert guidance to our most vital programs. As the lead for the Williams Family Initiative and various outreach programs, Benita oversees case management and resource distribution for hundreds of families each year. A licensed Community Health Worker since 2025 and Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) certified, she combines professional expertise with a deep commitment to community well-being, ensuring that every family she serves feels supported, seen, and empowered.

    Maya James, NuGenerations Program Administrator

    Maya James, CHW Since 2023, Maya has dedicated her career to addressing the social determinants of health, providing vital services to over 500 individuals and families. From helping people overcome homelessness to navigating college financial aid, her work has always been about breaking barriers. Maya joined R3 in November 2025, where she now focuses on reigniting hope in youth who have lost their motivation, helping them rebuild the confidence to pursue their dreams. A licensed Community Health Worker since July 2025, Maya is driven by her faith and the promise of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

    Alfredo Montejano, R3 Institute Program Manager

    Alfredo Motejano represents the heart of the R3 mission: empowerment through experience. As a proud product of our program and our very first work experience youth in 2019, Alfredo has come full circle to lead the next generation. Today, he serves as the Program Manager for the R3 Institute of Career Pathways, where he uses his personal journey to mentor students who are walking the same path he once traveled. Alfredo’s dedication is a testament to the life-changing impact of R3, and he is honored to pay forward the support, guidance, and opportunity he received as a student.

  • Sergio Flores, Print Tribe Program Manager

    Sergio Flores is a proud product of the R3 mission who has grown from a past work experience student into a dedicated leader within our community. With over two years of valuable experience working alongside the San Antonio Threads team, Sergio brings a unique, hands-on perspective to his role.

    He knows firsthand the impact that mentorship and professional opportunities can have on a young person's trajectory. Today, he is committed to paying that support forward, using his experience to guide current students as they navigate their own paths to success.

Her ability to contribute meaningfully to our team projects while staying true to her goals has made her a valued member of the R3 family. Steffany is a testament to the life-changing power of opportunity, and she continues to serve as an inspiration to the young people currently navigating their own paths within R3.

    Gabriella Serrano Garcia, NuGeneration Program Advocate, CHW Instructor

    Gabriella Serrano Garcia is a community health leader and CHW Instructor dedicated to empowering underserved populations. With deep roots in San Antonio, she serves on the Bexar County Community Council and the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Housing Services. Gabriella brings years of experience in crisis intervention and case management to the team, co-leading initiatives that bridge the gap in healthcare and education. Bilingual and currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Management at AIU, she is a passionate advocate for building equitable systems that unite and uplift the community.

    Jasmin Alonso holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington, a foundation that fuels her deep commitment to youth advocacy. With a focus on understanding and supporting the unique needs of the next generation, Jasmin applies her academic expertise to help students navigate challenges and build emotional resilience. She is passionate about creating environments where young people feel heard, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential.

    Patricia Villarreal - NuGeneration & R3 Institute Advocate

    Patricia Villarreal brings over 15 years of Human Resources expertise and a deep passion for mentorship to the R3 team. Originally from Chicago and a Texan for the last decade, Patricia is a proud mother of her son, Damian, and two beloved Pit Bull/Alaskan Shepherd mixes, Belo and Blu. Driven by her faith and a calling to give back as an empty nester, she joined R3 in September 2025. Since then, she has had the honor of supporting over 10 students through graduation, finding her greatest joy in watching young people grow into their full potential through faith and purpose.

    Jerrick Reyes - Nu Generation & R3 Institute Advocate

    Jerrick brings over 25 years of healthcare and leadership experience, including a decade-long tenure at Cardinal Health. A Certified Medical Assistant with an AAS from Dallas College, she is also MHFA certified for both adults and youth. Jerrick is a dedicated mentor who thrives on developing others and serving across multiple Employee Resource Groups. Outside of work, she is a competitive spirit, an avid gardener, and a "super-mom" to her family of eight children, seven grandchildren, and one diva chihuahua.

  • Tatianna Banks, Nu Generation Support Advocate

    Tatianna Banks, RN brings a wealth of empathy and advocacy to the R3 team. With a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of South Florida (2012) and a nursing degree earned in 2019, Tatianna has dedicated her career to serving the most vulnerable. Her professional journey includes impactful roles in group homes, foster care, and Child Protective Services, as well as her current work as a Labor and Delivery nurse. A humanitarian at heart, Tatianna is deeply committed to giving back to her San Antonio community and bringing compassion to every family and individual she serves.

  • Mikaya G. Mills, Nu Generation Support Advocate

    Mikaya G. Mills joins the R3 team with a versatile background in social work and psychology. Through her work as a business owner and life coach, she has developed a deep expertise in mentoring young women through their experiences with trauma. Mikaya is driven by a commitment to community wellness and is thrilled to use her skills to provide impactful, trauma-informed services to those we serve. She approaches her role with an infectious enthusiasm and a spirit of service, dedicated to helping others live their best lives.
